Yutian Deng holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Birmingham, UK, and obtained the qualification for Chinese attorney-at-law by successfully passing the National Bar Exam in China in 2022. Afterwards, she pursued a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law (LL.M. IP) at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre (MIPLC) in Germany, where she specialised in the areas of intellectual property law and unfair competition law.
Prior to joining HUASUN, Yutian Deng worked for a Chinese state-owned construction company and a foreign-related law firm in Shanghai, accumulating extensive experience in foreign-related IP matters.
In 2024, Ms. Deng joined the Munich office of HUASUN, further expanding her areas of expertise.
Currently, Yutian Deng mainly assists European patent attorneys in providing clients with intellectual property services regarding the application and subsequent maintenance of European patents, and participates in the processing of relevant procedures before the European Patent Office.
The mother tongue of Yutian Deng is Chinese. She also speaks English fluently.
