Ruowei Huang has studied Chinese law at Peking University Law School (LL.B.), Intellectual Property law and competition law at Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (LL.M. IP). Her major research areas cover copyright law, patent law, design law, unfair competition law and antitrust law. She also played an active role in the cooperation between SIPO and Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition law.
 
Ruowei Huang has obtained the qualification for Chinese attorney-at-law by successfully passing the National Bar Exam of China since 2010. She has obtained extensive experience in the area of IP law, general corporate matters (esp. M&A) and foreign direct investment (FDI) via working at a reputed international law firm.
 
In HUASUN, since 2012 Ruowei Huang works in the area of IP law. At the end of 2014/ the beginning of 2015 she was responsible for the establishment of our Beijing office (HUASUN (Beijing) Intellectual Property, Ltd.). Then she worked in our Munich office and Beijing office alternately every three months. Since May 2016 she works in Beijing and now as General Manager is responsible for the management of our Beijing office.
 
Ruowei Huang participated and successfully passed the first European patent administration certification (EPAC) examination organized by the EPO in 2022.
 
The mother tongue of Ruowei Huang is Chinese. She speaks English fluently. She can also read materials in German.
