Chinese Attorney-at-law Qualification

Kan He has studied intellectual property law at IP School of Shanghai University (LL.B.IP) and at Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (LL.M.IP). He is doing his PhD research in the University of Munich and the Max-Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition (formerly the Max-Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law). His research focuses on the copyright law in the China and EU and copyright policies for music industry.

Kan He successfully passed the National Bar Examination of China in 2007. Since then, he worked as an assistant prosecutor in Shanghai Prosecution Service of Jiading District for three years. He was in charge of the examination and evaluation on the issuance of arrest orders and the prosecution of criminal cases.

In HUASUN, since 2017, Kan He provides assistance to our patent attorneys and attorneys-at-law in the area of German and European IP law.

His mother tongue is Chinese. He speaks English fluently. He can also read in German.
